The park consists of 5 separate clusters scattered throughout Chukchi Peninsula.
Perhaps the only way to see the entire territory of the national park is to book a tour on one of the cruise liners that run along the Russian Far East. It has both advantages and disadvantages, and it is not only about the high price of the cruises. Buying a liner ticket, you don't worry about organizational issues, and you can see all the most interesting objects of the national park. However, to feel Beringia, its amazing nature, to learn about the unique culture of indigenous peoples is possible only if you organize your travel yourself.
If you are organizing your travel yourself, be ready for the fact that covering everything at one time is unlikely to manage. To get to remote areas in off-road conditions and unpredictable weather is very difficult, so you should decide what sites to visit in advance. Luckily, the park's trademark, Senyavin Strait, is located in the most accessible Providensky cluster. Senyavin Strait is a small copy of Beringia Natioanl Park. Here you could see whales and seals, walrus herds and bird colonies, picturesque fjords and ancient Eskimos monuments.
The most brave and curious who want to step further in exploring the national park, need to have enough time and be patient.

- 1If you are a foreign citizen, get familiar with the passes you need to visit Chukotka.
You can get to Chukotka only by air. The main transport hub of Chukotka is Anadyr. This is the first destination for all travelers. The other localities in Chukotka are connected with Anadyr by domestic airlines.
If you plan to visit the Providensky cluster of the national park, get from Anadyr to Provideniya. If you travel to the northern parts of the park or to Cape Dezhnev, get to the locality called Lavrentiya. - 2When planning your travel, please note that it would take at least 7 days to travel in the Providensky section of the park. Visiting the northern sections takes at least 10-14 days. Travelling difficult routes takes 3-4 weeks.
Planning a trip to Beringia for a shorter period of time is not worth it. Domestic flights are often delayed due to weather conditions and there is a risk of not getting to the national park if you don't have enough time. - 3You can buy domestic airline tickets on the Chukotka airlines website. The flights are operated twice a week from June to October, once a week in April and May and once every two weeks in the other months. The schedule is available on the website of the Ugolny Airport (Anadyr).
Tickets are usually sold out in a few months before the flights, so you need to plan your trip in advance. Be ready that the schedule depends on the weather. You may not reach a destination as scheduled. - 4Pay attention to the connecting flights. We wouldn't recommend you to buy tickets to Anadyr and to Chukotka localities the same day. The flights don't connect. You need to get to Anadyr at least a day before your local flight.
It is better to take a return ticket from Anadyr for a date that is at least 2 days after you get there from a Chukotka locality. For instance, if your flight from Provideniya to Anadyr is on Tuesday, the flight from Anadyr should be no earlier than Thursday. Flights of Chukotka airlines are very often delayed due to weather conditions.
We recommend you to buy a return ticket that you will be able to exchange. If you travel a difficult route, it is better not to buy return tickets in advance or have several days in the transit locality. - 5Ugolny Airport and the city of Anadyr are located on different banks of the Anadyr Estuary. While waiting for domestic flights, it is better not to cross the estuary and stay in a locality called Ugolnye Kopi near the airport not to miss your flight. Check-in usually starts at 9 AM. Plan a visit to Anadyr on the way back from the natioanl park.
